Hi All –

I am about to publish an Amazing book on my Roundwood Press website.

For years, I worked on obtaining the copyright for this amazing book.

It is now available to read and enjoy.

This is the true story of a World War 1 pilot whose sopwith camel biplane was downed in German occupied Belgium in the winter of 1917.

The pilot, Talbot Baines Bruce, spent 13 weeks hiding out in Belgian safe houses and evading capture by German troops until he escaped to Holland.

It is an amazing Story. It was published as a bestseller almost a century ago – in 1930 and 1932 – and reprinted five times in London and Edinburgh, Scotland.

Then the book vanished.

Decades later, the pilot and author lived next to my parents and our family in Delgany, Ireland. Talbot’s wife, Mollie, loaned a copy of his hardback book to my parents to read. They loved the story and talked about if often.

Decades passed. The author and pilot Talbot died, as did his wife and my parents.

I remembered the book, and tracked down a copy. I contacted the public library of Edinburth, Scotland, who researched the story.

Next, I hired a law firm in London to track down the heirs to the copyright–which they did. The Canadian brother and sister lived in the Philipinnes and Costa Rica. I contacted them, and purchased the copyright to the book.
