Overview.
In September during a weekend in Bordeaux, I enjoyed a magnificent lunch/pool party in Castillon organized by Glenda and Frank Kalyk of Château Picoron, assisted by their winemaker Camille Lanyou.
Château Picoron.
All wines are made from Merlot grapes grown on their beautiful 4.5 hectare (11 acre) estate over a ridge of Saint-Émilion clay limestone.

Ceviche à la Glenda
Ceviche de maigre, eau de tomate, suprême d’agrume, framboise, pickles, huile d’herbe
Croaker ceviche , tomato water, citrus supreme, raspberries, pickles, herb oil

During the weekend I also visited Montagne-Saint-Émilion, and enjoyed a quiet countryside lunch at Le Clos Mirande.
